Once children are familiar with the formation of the single letters and their sounds the natural progression is to move onto the association between the two and three letter phonemes and learning to join the letters together using the animal starting shapes.  Building the association between the animal characters, their starting shapes and how to apply them to joining two and three letters together is a natural development for all children. This workbook has been developed to support this level of learning in children, helping to build the association between phonetic sounds, letter formation using the cognitive framework of the Hemispheres Think Write Handwriting Programme.
